Dear Friends and well wishers,
On behalf of our friend late Mr. Pukar Chhetri’s Family, who passed away on August 11, 2010, we would like to thank you very much indeed for your generous donation, help and support. Your contributions made it possible for us to send his deceased body back to Nepal.
Since its inception on August 12, 2010, the” Help Pukar’s Family Campaign” has raised enough fund to send late Mr. Chhetri’s body back to Nepal as per the wish of his Family. The remaining balance of the fund will also be disbursed to his parents as soon as possible. This has only become possible because of your thoughtful contributions.
Mr. Pukar Chhetri’s body left Houston, Texas, on Thai Airlines on August 26 and is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal, on August 28, following which his family will perform funeral services and final rites, as per our tradition and religion, in Aryaghat, by Shree Pashupatinath temple. We hope your continued support will give his family enough strength to cope with this most difficult situation.
